Decoral's new polyurethane material is formulated to produce the most realistic, wear resistant and affordable coral replicas available today. Polyurethane is not only flexible, inert and non-toxic, but also UV and temperature resistant. It does not off-gas, harden or fracture like soft poly-resin, resulting in an attractive, non-abrasive, durable and long-lasting product.
Please note: All coral replicas are supplied with specially engineered, removable plastic fixing pegs, allowing corals to be easily mounted in any reef set-up.
Cleaning and Handling
• It is recommended that these coral replicas are rinsed in freshwater before being introduced into an established aquarium
• To remove algae it is suggested that the coral replicas are soaked overnight in an organic cleaner
• The coral replicas can also be cleaned with a brush or pressure nozzle
• Use a chlorine-based bleach/water solution as an algaecide for final cleaning. DO NOT immerse in concentrations greater than 10% for longer than 2-3 minutes
